Matcha Donuts (Low Carb, Grain Free, High Fiber)




- 8 eggwhites

- 4 scoops @f_factor 20/20 vanilla powder (or another protein powder of choice)

- 1 tbs good quality matcha powder

- 1/2 cup 0% plain greek yogurt

- 2/3 cup extra fine wheat bran

- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1 TBS vanilla extract

- 1 TBS coconut flour (@bobsredmill )

- 2 tsp baking powder

- 2 tbs monkfruit or sweetener of choice

- 1 tbs fiber syrup by @choczero (optional but makes it more moist—can use a ripe banana instead)

- 2 TBS coconut oil, optional and I omit because I save my fat for other meals

Chocolate Topping:

- 1/2 cup stevia sweetened chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips

- 1 tsp liquid coconut oil


(1) Whip Egg whites thoroughly, then add in all other donut ingredients (save chocolate coating ingredients on the side) and whisk until smooth,

(2) Pour batter in greased donut pan, bake for 18 minutes at 375 F,

(3) After you remove the donuts from the oven, allow them to cool and begin preparing the chocolate topping by melting the chocolate with the coconut oil,

(4) Dip the donuts in the chocolate mixture and place on a cooling rack or tray to cool (Optional to top with matcha powder for garnish)

Store in the fridge for up to 1 week and Enjoy!
