Low Carb Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites

I have been on a mission to create a protein bite that is high fiber and lower in fat (as most protein bites are typically high fat) and I finally perfected the recipe....

NUTRITION: Each Protein Bite is only 50 calories, has 4 grams of FIBER and 2.2 NET CARBS, AND over 4 grams of PROTEIN per bit TOPPING: I topped my protein balls with BEE POLLEN. I love using bee pollen in my recipes because they are rich in antioxidants and immune boosting vitamins. You can also top with coconut flakes, cinnamon, or dehydrated berries.

RECIPE

(makes 12 protein bites)

✔️INGREDIENTS: - 8 TBS Powdered peanut butter (I used @pbtrimmed) . - 1/4 Cup Fine Wheat Bran (I used @shiloh_farms_foods ) . - 1 scoop of Vanilla Protein powder (I used @ffactor 20/20 Vanilla powder) - 1/2 TBS stevia - 1 tsp Cinnamon - 6 TBS @lilys_sweets_chocolate Chips . - Water (add a TBS at a time, less is more!!) ✔️INSTRUCTION:

- Leave chocolate to the side, mix dry ingredients and then slowly add water until a dry dough forms (if it gets a little too wet, it is ok), then form the dough into 12 balls, and place balls on a plate in the freezer.

- Allow the balls to freeze for at least 30 minutes.

- While balls are in the freezer, melt the chocolate (I use the double boiler method), and then remove the balls from the freezer, coat the balls in chocolate and place directly on wax paper covered plate.

- Top the balls with topping of choice, here I used BEE POLLEN.

ENJOY 😊💕
