Low Carb Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies

These cookies have anti-inflammatory properties and facilitate hormonal balancing. How⁉️SESAME SEEDS....

⭐️I have been dying to try @kalejunkie Life Changing Tahini Cookie recipe and so I made a LOW CARB, @f_factor approved version! .

NUTRITION: 12 carb- 8.6 FIBER • 3.4 NET CARB per cookie ‼️

SESSME SEEDS 🌱are great for balancing hormone levels because they contain lignin’s, which decreases estrogen levels in the body. Sesame seeds also have anti-inflammatory properties and are rich in minerals, including magnesium and zinc. TAHINI is ground up sesame seeds, so incorporating tahini into your diet can be incredibly beneficial. Check out @carolinebasshealth for more on hormone health 💕

Do you know what SEED CYCLING is? Generally, it is the process of incorporating a variety of SEEDS into your diet on a scheduled rotation and it encourages a balance between progesterone and estrogen. By balancing hormones, you can see a decrease in hormonal related weight retention or acne!

RECIPE

(20 small cookies)

✔️INGREDIENTS

- 1 cup almond flour.

- 1 cup tahini - 1/2 cup Fiber Syrup (I use @choczero )

- 2 TBS stevia (or zero calorie sweetener of choice) - 1 egg - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 cup @lilys_sweets_chocolate Chocolate Chips

- 1 scoop collagen peptides (optional, but great source of protein), I use @vitalproteins

- sea salt flakes for topping

✔️ INSTRUCTION:

(1) mix together almond flour, tahini, fiber syrup, stevia, collagen peptides (if using), and chocolate chips! *The dough should be thick. If it's not, add a little bit more almond flour

(2) Mix to ensure everything is coated well, and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Do not skip this step!

(3) While the dough is chilling, preheat oven to 350. (4) Remove bowl from the fridge, and add the egg and baking soda. Mix until fully incorporated.

(5) Grease a baking sheet. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, scoop dough and form cookies. Depending on the size of your cookies, you will get 18-20.

(6) Bake for 10-11 minutes. Remove from the oven and let the cookies settle before eating!
